About The Academy of Vocal Arts

For Career - For Results - For Fun

The Academy of Vocal Arts is a specialist school that focuses primarily on the Voice.

Many of our Students have gone on to professional work in the Music Industry and Musical Theatre business.

Our background is working with all disciplines of stagecraft at any age. We believe It is never too early or too late to learn how to sing.

For those who wish to pursue a career in musical theatre, we believe that the voice gets left behind.

If you want a career in Musical Theatre and your focus is dance, you'll still need to be able to sing at every audition. We want to focus helping students find their natural voices, building confidence through working together and applying this to every day life.

Even if you don't want a career in the arts, nurturing talent and enjoying singing with others is what we love to help inspire.

Katy and Nathan will lead all classes together having taught together for many years since they met on a theatre job in 2011.

First and foremost they believe in having fun and creating a comfortable class environment to get the best out of the singers. They are very approachable if people feel they have any vocal problems to address.

Katy and Nathan hold many workshops for professional singers for working with vocal problems or wanting to address different vocal issues such as the vocal break also known as the passaggio.

The school is delighted to offer guest teachers from the west end, uk and worldwide tours. Please visit our teacher’s page for more information.
